About The Position
Sentara Dedicated Care Center - Internal Medicine - Concierge Practice is now hiring a PRN Patient Service Coordinator in Norfolk, VA! This is Sentara’s only internal medicine concierge practice, focusing on dedicating more time to patients with smaller panel sizes. The role involves building relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers by providing "world class" service and acting as the first point of contact for concierge patients. It requires utilizing sales skills to retain patients, maintaining superior patient-provider relationships, ensuring high-quality care coordination, and meeting/exceeding patient expectations. The position also involves continuously improving quality, efficiency, and service, with attention to balancing health-related and financial conversations to keep copays and membership fees up to date. Teamwork is emphasized to ensure the best patient care.
Requirements
- HS Diploma (Required)
- Healthcare experience (Required)
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with patients, physicians and co-workers by providing "world class" service.
- Act as the first point of contact/ambassador for concierge patients.
- Utilize sales skills to retain patients within the practice.
- Maintain superior patient-provider relationships with the highest quality of care coordination.
- Provide service that ensures patients' needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Continuously work to improve quality efficiency & service in all areas of practice.
- Balance health related and financial conversations to keep copays and membership fees up to date.
- Work together with the team to ensure the best care for our patients.
