About The Position

Sentara Dedicated Care Center - Internal Medicine - Concierge Practice is now hiring a full-time Patient Service Coordinator in Norfolk, VA! This is Sentara’s only internal medicine concierge practice, which prides itself on dedicating more time to patients through smaller panel sizes. The role involves building relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers by providing "world class" service and acting as the first point of contact for concierge patients. Responsibilities include utilizing sales skills to retain patients, maintaining superior patient-provider relationships, ensuring patient needs are met and expectations are exceeded, and improving practice efficiency and service. This includes balancing health-related and financial conversations to keep copays and membership fees up to date. Teamwork is exceptional, with everyone working together to ensure the best care for patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma (Required)
• Healthcare experience (Required)

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact/ambassador for concierge patients.
• Utilize sales skills to retain patients within the practice.
• Maintain superior patient-provider relationships with the highest quality of care coordination.
• Provide service that ensures patients' needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• Continuously work to improve quality, efficiency, and service in all areas of practice.
• Balance health-related and financial conversations to keep copays and membership fees up to date.
• Build relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
