This is a full-time Patient Service Coordinator role within the Hematology/Oncology Department at the Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is part of the innovative Lemieux model, prioritizing patient-centered care and collaborating with top leaders in the heme/onc specialty. The role involves greeting and registering patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and providing excellent customer service. Additionally, the coordinator will assist providers and clinical staff with patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, rooming and triaging patients, stocking supplies, and cleaning rooms.
