About The Position

The Patient Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and the clinic property. They will monitor the clinic site, including exterior areas, to maintain a secure environment and respond to disturbances as needed. The Patient Monitor will uphold a compassionate and respectful approach while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of facilities maintenance or security experience.
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong vision, hearing, and communication abilities to effectively perform job duties.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor exterior doors, perimeter, and parking areas to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Oversee the dosing lobby until all patients have exited the building.
  • Investigate disturbances, prepare incident reports, and notify management when necessary.
  • Ensure security systems and equipment are operational and detect signs of tampering.
  • Demonstrate hope, respect, and caring in all interactions with patients and team members.
  • Uphold the belief that addiction is a brain disease, not a moral failing.
  • Attend and complete all required training sessions.
  • Commit to continual professional growth and development.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accrediting agency standards.
  • Assist with other responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Contribute to a diverse and inclusive working environment.
