About The Position

The Patient Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and the clinic property. They will monitor the clinic site, including exterior areas, to maintain a secure environment and respond to disturbances as needed. The Patient Monitor will uphold a compassionate and respectful approach while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements

2-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
1-2 years of facilities maintenance or security experience.
Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stretch for extended periods.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Strong vision, hearing, and communication abilities to effectively perform job duties.

Responsibilities

Monitor exterior doors, perimeter, and parking areas to ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Oversee the dosing lobby until all patients have exited the building.
Investigate disturbances, prepare incident reports, and notify management when necessary.
Ensure security systems and equipment are operational and detect signs of tampering.
Demonstrate hope, respect, and caring in all interactions with patients and team members.
Uphold the belief that addiction is a brain disease, not a moral failing.
Attend and complete all required training sessions.
Commit to continual professional growth and development.
Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accrediting agency standards.
Assist with other responsibilities as assigned by management.
