About The Position

This is a remote customer service and administrative role with opportunities for growth at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists (TexPTS), a member of the Confluent Health family. The Remote Patient Scheduling Coordinator combines customer service, scheduling, administrative support, and call center responsibilities to help patients get connected with the care they need. The role involves answering questions, solving problems, coordinating appointments, and working closely with clinic teams to create a positive patient experience. Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required. After completing paid onsite training in Live Oak, TX, the role transitions to remote work. Candidates must be local to the San Antonio, TX - Live Oak area. This is a full-time position with flexible 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Monday-Thursday and 7:00 AM-4:00 PM on Fridays. The pay rate is approximately $17-$18 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service or other service-focused experience preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for remote work.
  • Ability to successfully complete required training.

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, call centers, scheduling, reception, hospitality, administrative support, or other service-focused roles are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with scheduling and general questions.
  • Schedule new patient appointments for assigned physical therapy clinics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for every patient.
  • Listen to patient needs, identify solutions, and resolve questions or concerns in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with clinic teams to ensure patients are scheduled appropriately.
  • Accurately enter and update patient information in computer systems.
  • Document calls and patient interactions accurately.
  • Request and upload required documentation into electronic medical record systems.
  • Follow established scheduling procedures and quality standards.
  • Meet individual and team performance goals and participate in training, coaching, and team meetings.
