About The Position

This is a part-time position for a Patient Scheduling Clerk at Markham Stouffville Hospital. The role involves patient scheduling and order entry in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The position requires excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to a safe and healthy workplace. The work schedule is every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 08:30 to 16:30 in the Patient Scheduling office, though schedules may change due to operational needs. Requirements

Previous experience with patient scheduling and order entry in a high volume, fast-paced environment is required.
Knowledge of and/or completion of a medical terminology course.
Proficient computer skills, Meditech experience preferred.
Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent public relations and communication skills with a pleasant telephone manner.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and collaboratively as a member of the team.
Evidence of good attention to detail.
Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard.
