About The Position
American Medical Group / Emerald Coast Infectious Diseases is a well-established and respected provider of high-quality healthcare services in the Florida Panhandle. We specialize in Infectious Diseases, Podiatry, Rheumatology, Allergy & Immunology and Gastroenterology, with more specialties being added to the growing group. We are committed to improving the lives of our patients through compassionate care and clinical excellence. We’re looking for a Patient Scheduler to be the first point of contact for our patients and ensure seamless appointment coordination within our healthcare facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Excellent speaking voice
- Superb customer service skills
- Knowledge of switchboards and phone systems
Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls, provide pertinent information to the caller and transfer the call to the appropriate source
- Relay voicemails and other messages to the proper location withing the organization
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments via phone
- Provide exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment
- Route calls the the correct site / department
