As a Patient Scheduler, you’ll be the go-to person for scheduling appointments, handling check-ins and check-outs, and making sure everything runs like clockwork.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Customer service experience (if it’s in healthcare, that’s a plus!)
- Strong communication skills—you’ll be talking to patients, families, and providers all day
- Tech-savviness—comfortable using computers and scheduling software
Nice To Haves
- Bonus points if you know medical terminology and insurance basics!
Responsibilities
- Be the friendly first point of contact—greet patients, answer questions, and set the tone for a great visit
- Schedule appointments like a pro, ensuring our clinic stays busy and efficient
- Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and make sure all financial info is up to date
- Keep patient records accurate and organized
- Help patients navigate resources like financial assistance, referrals, and insurance options
- Work closely with clinic staff to keep everything running smoothly
