About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, continually growing hospital. The Patient Safety Tech provides sitter and health care services to patients who are suicidal or at risk of falling, unable to call for assistance, pose a safety risk to other patients, or may harm themselves, such as by pulling invasive lines or tubes. The position floats between various locations as assigned and works 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• Current Georgia CNA license.
• At least one year of related experience in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to follow oral instructions.
• Ability to work without close supervision.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• BLS required.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training for volatile patients; may be obtained after hire during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide sitter and health care services to patients who are suicidal, at risk of falling, unable to call for assistance, pose a safety risk to other patients, or are at risk of harming themselves, including pulling invasive lines or tubes.
• Float between various locations as assigned.
