About The Position

The Patient Safety Tech Float position is a part-time role (32 hours per week, 0.8 FTE) with 8-hour shifts. This role involves rotation for weekends and holidays. The position is classified as Nonexempt and is part of the Emergency Department. The primary location is Brattleboro, Vermont.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Excellent prioritization skills required.
• CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to hear calls.
• Ability to hear instructions from physician/department staff/others.

Nice To Haves

• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between different areas as needed.
• Ensure patient safety.
