About The Position

As a Patient Safety Attendant at Ogden Regional Medical Center, you will help protect patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. From a remote station, you will continuously monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being and promptly communicate concerns to the care team so they can respond. The role includes documenting patient activity and changes accurately, safeguarding confidential information, and working with the healthcare team to promote compassion, respect, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 7 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Continuously watch patients to help ensure their safety and well-being.
• Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team.
• Document patient activity and changes accurately and clearly throughout the shift.
• Safeguard confidential information and honor patient privacy.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to foster compassion, respect, and teamwork.
