As a Patient Safety Assistant (PSA), you will help ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you will provide patient observation, assistance with daily activities, and meaningful interactions. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Successful completion of BLS Heartsaver during orientation.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in patient care or a related field.
- Familiarity with healthcare settings and patient safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Observe patients and report changes to the Registered Nurse according to protocol.
- Assist patients with feeding, bathing, toileting, and ambulating.
- Engage patients in activities they enjoy, such as reading or playing cards.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
