Under the direction of the Director of Patient Safety, the Patient Safety and Quality Project Manager leads the planning, coordination, and execution of complex patient safety and quality initiatives across Brown University Health. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and accountability, applying advanced project management expertise, critical thinking, and judgment to support cross-functional teams, governance committees, and leadership in driving measurable safety and quality improvement outcomes. The Patient Safety and Quality Project Manager serves as a key liaison between clinical, operational, quality, and patient safety stakeholders. The role ensures initiatives are aligned with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare quality and patient safety, while maintaining robust documentation, monitoring progress, and supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
