About The Position

The Ohio State University's College of Dentistry is seeking a Patient Revenue Cycle Senior Coordinator for the Clinic Administration Predoctoral Clinic. The Predoctoral Clinics are an important part of the health care delivery system ensuring optimal health care experience for our dental patients and students. The Patient Revenue Cycle Senior Coordinator functions as an integral member of a team of care providers in the College of Dentistry. Overall responsibilities include serving as one of the receptionists in the eight predoctoral clinics performing patient scheduling, taking incoming patient calls, patient check-in, tracking dental and hygiene students schedules, assisting with backup coverage as needed, verifying forms for accuracy and completeness, coordinating with and disseminating information to the patient care team; this position assists with providing coverage for student licensing exams, board screenings and participates in a team rotation to cover bi-weekly predoctoral evening clinic each semester.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
2 years of relevant experience required

Nice To Haves

Certification or vocational training may be required
Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred
4-6 years of relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities
