Patient Representative (Temporary) – The Friendly Face of Our Practice Join our team in a temporary role where you can make an immediate impact! As a Temporary Patient Representative, you'll play a vital role in creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient and family. You'll often be the first point of contact, helping coordinate care and ensuring each visit is smooth, organized, and positive. Pediatric Associates of Barrington Pediatric Associates of Barrington - Crystal Lake , 525 East Congress Parkway, Suite 220, Crystal Lake, IL 60014 Office Open: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday- Friday, evening hours until 7:00pm on a variable basis; Saturday 8:30am-12:00pm Pediatric Associates of Barrington - Barrington , 27750 West Highway 22, Suite 150, Barrington, IL 60010 Office Open: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday- Friday, evening hours until 7:00pm on a variable basis GENERAL SUMMARY: The Patient Representative is the first point of contact for patients, families and many other sources. Works under the direct supervision of the Practice Manager. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Answers phones, schedules appointments and verifies patient information. Completes check-in, check-out and end of day processing. Enters charges; collects and posts payments. Collects patient balances. Copies medical records. Scans incoming patient records/reports. Completes end of day process. Processes medical records requests. Demonstrates and supports PediaTrust Core Values. ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs digital health workflows and initiatives. Performs complete referral authorizations. Performs other duties as assigned. Salary Description $15.00 - $25.17 per hour
