This role serves as a liaison between the patient and clinical support staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient front office operation. The Patient Representative must maintain strict confidentiality, handle patient check-ins, verify and update demographic and insurance information, and assist patients with ambulatory difficulties. They are also responsible for collecting payments, entering charges, answering telephones, screening calls, and maintaining a neat and orderly work area. This position requires proficiency with medical office technology systems and the ability to foster a team approach to patient care and clinic efficiency.
