This role is responsible for analyzing billing denials related to registration errors, investigating root causes, and correcting complex registration issues. The specialist will respond to inquiries, research insurance requirements, and perform monthly registration audits. They will also provide education to partners, assist patient financial counselors with self-estimates and charge costs, and act as a liaison with physician and office staff. Additionally, this role assists with insurance authorizations, setting up new financial programs, and planning/organizing patient access/registration employee trainings. This includes developing orientation and ongoing training materials, facilitating training logistics, and creating/maintaining various manual and electronic files and written materials for documentation and compliance.
