At WakeMed Health & Hospitals, Patient Registration Representatives are the first point of contact for patients, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and supportive experience. This role involves greeting patients, checking them in for appointments, and coordinating follow-up care at MyCare 365 locations. Key responsibilities include accurately registering patients by entering demographic and insurance information, collecting copays and point-of-service payments, and scheduling appointments. Representatives are expected to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, serving as a liaison between patients, families, providers, and the care team. The position also supports centralized welcome desks and check-in areas across MyCare 365 and physician practice locations.
