Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in scheduling appointments preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients, helping them navigate the registration and scheduling process.
  • Verify insurance coverage, obtain authorizations, and ensure accurate patient records.
  • Work with clinical and administrative teams to streamline patient access.
  • Greet & Assist Patients & Visitors, providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Collect & Verify Patient Information, ensuring accuracy in personal, medical, and insurance details.
  • Coordinate Appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and providing reminders.
  • Support Telehealth Services by educating patients on the process and providing technical assistance.
  • Ensure Compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide General Administrative Support, assisting with forms, correspondence, and documentation.
  • Perform Other Duties as Assigned to support clinic operations.
