About The Position

TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Patient Registration Associate in the Baltimore area! This role involves greeting incoming patients, checking patients in/out, verifying insurance, and providing EXCELLENT customer service. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling patient appointments, and working with providers to ensure patients are seen in a timely fashion. The role requires using the EPIC EMR system on a daily basis.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of medical front desk, medical registration, patient service coordinator or something related
• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 1+ years of Med Sec/Front Desk/Registration/Patient Scheduling/healthcare customer service exp
• EXCELLENT customer service skills

Nice To Haves

• EPIC is a huge plus
• EPIC would be huge plus, but not a must

Responsibilities
