About The Position

Pride Health is hiring a Patient Registrar for one of its clients in Texas. This is a 6-month contract with a possible extension, with competitive pay and benefits. The Patient Registrar is responsible for performing patient registration, scheduling, and front-desk support in a Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic. They ensure accurate collection of patient demographics, insurance verification, and required documentation to support efficient clinic operations and patient flow. This role serves as a key point of contact for patients and clinic staff, providing high-quality customer service and assisting with appointment coordination and basic administrative tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Proficiency with computer systems and basic office equipment
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Nice To Haves

• Associate experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Perform patient check-in/check-out and complete registration processes
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments, including diagnostic and ancillary services
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and ensure correct plan coding
• Communicate with patients, providers, and staff regarding appointments and clinic flow
• Enter and reconcile charges and maintain accurate patient records
• Ensure interpreter services are arranged when needed
• Provide front-office support, including answering inquiries, managing correspondence, filing, and supplies
• Support patient throughput and assist with clinic coverage as needed across locations
