Patient Registrar - Part Time - Night Shift (Flex)
About The Position
Define the patient care experience at New York Presbyterian Hospital. As a patient registrar, you will make a lasting impression on patients by assisting them with questions and concerns, keeping families informed, and embodying the promise of putting patients first. You will be a vital part of our administrative team, registering patients for procedures and appointments, obtaining demographic and insurance information, ensuring proper scheduling, recording patient history, and obtaining pre-certification and authorization. Requirements
- At least one year of clerical experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Energetic, approachable individual with a desire to put patients first.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- All roles require on-site presence.
Nice To Haves
- Completed some college coursework.
- Familiarity with health insurance requirements.
- Familiarity with clinical coding.
