The Patient Registrar is responsible for accurately and efficiently registering patients, collecting demographic and insurance information, and ensuring a positive and welcoming experience for patients and families at Shriners Hospitals for Children. Requirements
- High school Diploma/GED
Nice To Haves
- Experience in scheduling and registration
- Clinical experience with knowledge in medical procedures, terminology and documentation
Responsibilities
- Schedules or reschedules clinic appointments
- Ensures outpatients scheduled for visits are registered in the EMR
- Sends written notifications of regularly scheduled appointments to patients and families.
- Orients all new patients and families to the Outpatient department
