About The Position

This role is for someone who excels at relating to others with empathy, dependability, and adaptability. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, can listen to and understand others' perspectives, and responds with compassion. This position requires someone who is comfortable working independently to complete tasks while also being a supportive team player. The role thrives in a busy environment, requiring strong multi-tasking skills, including the ability to type while talking on the phone and guide callers. The representative must be able to absorb information, ask clarifying questions, and communicate it effectively to others. A strategic approach to organizing information and understanding the history and intentionality behind company processes is important. Good judgment is necessary, especially for handling complex situations. The role involves improving and optimizing patient resources and acting as a voice for Brio patients. Humility and grace towards team members are highly valued.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Expert computer skills.
  • Able to type 40 wpm.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Answering all incoming calls promptly, efficiently and with compassion.
  • Inviting, connecting, and partnering with our patients to help provide extraordinary patient care.
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Answering informational questions accurately.
  • Connecting callers with other departments as necessary.
  • Efficiently multi-tasking, especially in times of high volume.
  • Attending team development meetings, trainings, and quarterly one-on-ones with supervising Coordinator throughout the year.
  • Other duties as assigned.
