About The Position

Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Lake Norman, located in Cornelius, NC, offers comprehensive non-surgical and surgical Orthopedic care for patients of all ages. Services include conservative management, injections, Orthobiologics, home exercise programs/referrals to physical therapy, total joint replacements, and ligament/tendon repairs. The team comprises a non-surgical sports provider, total joint orthopedic surgeon, sports surgeon, and hand/upper extremity surgeon. The organization is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Navigator to join their Ambulatory Nursing team. This pivotal role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN Navigator will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication to foster the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Minimum of 1 years of RN experience preferred
  • Current certification in BLS required
  • BSN degree required
  • Certification in the appropriate specialized field within 1 year of being in the position required.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior orthopedic and ambulatory experience preferred
  • MSN preferred
