About The Position

To be considered for this role, candidates must have experience managing 65 to 80 calls daily in a high-volume call center, scheduling, or patient access environment. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis, MO.

Requirements

High-volume inbound/outbound call experience (65 to 80 calls per day).
Patient scheduling, registration, or healthcare customer service experience.
Insurance verification and referral processing experience.
Knowledge of medical billing practices and financial assistance programs.
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with electronic scheduling systems and patient reminder platforms.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with scheduling appointments over the phone and via email.
Obtain insurance information, referral forms, and other required documentation from patients.
Counsel patients on financial assistance options and insurance-related matters.
Schedule and register patients remotely with no direct patient contact.
Communicate with physicians and clinical staff regarding urgent scheduling requests and referrals.
Verify patient demographics and insurance information during the registration process.
Review and maintain scheduling accuracy for new and existing patients.
Contact patients with appointment reminders and obtain any required insurance or referral information.
Support patients with insurance-related questions regarding billing and payment responsibilities.
