About The Position

Daymark's Marketing team is looking for a Patient Marketing Manager to help us reach patients and bring them into Daymark's care. In this role, you'll own the day-to-day execution of how we engage prospective patients by developing a deep understanding of Daymark's model and audiences, and translating our messaging and positioning into patient- and provider-facing content that is clear, compassionate, and converts. You’ll focus on educating them on who Daymark is and how to enroll across every channel we use, from email and SMS to brochures, direct mail, in-person, and digital. You'll also bring a strong point of view and fresh creative thinking to how we grow enrollment. Your work will directly support our enrollment team, who connect with prospective patients every day, and your success will be measured in new patients enrolled. This is a role for a self-starter who can be trusted to run with the work, sweat the details, and turn a compelling perspective into campaigns that ship. If you are excited about driving meaningful, measurable growth in new patient enrollment through optimized, data-informed campaigns, this role is for you!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-7 years of progressive marketing experience, with B2C or direct-to-consumer work required. Digital health, healthcare, wellness, or consumer subscription experience is ideal.
  • A portfolio of writing samples (email, SMS, landing pages, brochures, or scripts) that shows you can write independently and on-brand.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying lifecycle campaigns in a marketing automation platform (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot), including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Experience running multichannel campaigns across email, SMS, direct mail, and print, with a track record of tying them to conversion or acquisition metrics.
  • Comfort working in a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and reading performance data to decide what to test and optimize next.
  • Working knowledge of consent and communications compliance (HIPAA, TCPA, CAN-SPAM), or the judgment to learn it quickly and partner with compliance.
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple workstreams and shipping on schedule.
  • Experience using AI tools (LLMs, content generation, analysis) in your marketing workflow.
  • A strong, independent writer. This is non-negotiable — you can write compelling, on-brand patient and provider content on your own, with minimal hand-holding, and translate messaging and positioning into copy that connects and converts.
  • A creative thinker with a POV. You don't just execute a brief — you bring ideas. You're always thinking about how to improve enrollment, you're willing to test unconventional approaches, and you have a strong point of view on strategy even as you partner with a leader who owns it.
  • A multichannel campaign builder. You have experience developing and executing across email, SMS, direct mail, print, digital, and ideally out-of-home, and you understand how to sequence channels for a coordinated, personalized experience.
  • Marketing operations savvy. You're native to marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot) and CRMs — deeply fluent as a power user, even if you're not the system administrator — and you know how to leverage best-in-class technology to deliver targeted communications at scale. Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Data-driven and execution-oriented. You A/B test relentlessly, read the numbers, and use them to improve. You have incredible attention to detail and a bias toward shipping.
  • A self-starter. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, early-stage environment, you're resourceful and creative, and you're comfortable owning your work end to end.
  • A collaborative teammate. You partner well across marketing, enrollment, clinical, and operations, and you communicate openly on a small, nimble team.
  • Mission-first. You are motivated by the opportunity to improve the healthcare system and aligned with Daymark's mission to transform cancer care for patients, families, and providers. (Bonus if you have healthcare, patient marketing, or regulated-industry experience — or a personal reason this work matters to you.)

Nice To Haves

  • Digital health, healthcare, wellness, or consumer subscription experience is ideal.
  • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • Healthcare, patient marketing, or regulated-industry experience — or a personal reason this work matters to you.

Responsibilities

  • Bring a strong point of view to Daymark's patient acquisition and engagement strategy — proactively surfacing creative ideas and new approaches to reach prospective patients, educate them on Daymark, and improve how we convert them to enrolled patients. You'll help shape the strategy and own bringing it to life.
  • Develop and execute multichannel campaigns spanning print collateral (brochures and more), email, SMS, direct mail, out-of-home, and digital.
  • Write patient- and provider-facing content independently — emails, brochures, landing pages, scripts, and collateral — translating Daymark's messaging and positioning into content that resonates and drives action.
  • Partner closely with the enrollment team, arming them with the materials, messaging, and campaigns they need to convert prospective patients through daily outreach.
  • Own the patient marketing calendar — scheduling, building, and deploying campaigns across platforms.
  • Work fluently across our marketing automation platform(s) and CRM to deliver targeted, personalized, well-timed communications — you'll be native to these tools and use them expertly, though you won't own CRM administration.
  • Continuously A/B test and optimize campaigns to drive incremental gains in enrollment and engagement, and monitor and analyze performance to inform what comes next.
  • Use data-driven insights to tailor messaging to each stage of the prospective patient journey.
  • Ensure all patient and enrollment communications meet healthcare compliance and consent requirements (e.g., HIPAA, TCPA), partnering with internal stakeholders as needed.
