About The Position

At Noble Community Clinics, our Patient Intake team is often the first point of contact for our patients. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and collaborative Patient Intake Supervisor to lead our intake operations while ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience from their very first interaction. This leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing high-performing teams, improving processes, navigating complex insurance and enrollment programs, and making healthcare more accessible for the communities we serve.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Medicaid enrollment and Health Insurance Marketplace programs
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • CPR Certification (or ability to obtain if required by policy)
  • Certified Application Counselor (CAC) or willingness to obtain certification within one year of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Three to five years of supervisory or management experience
  • Experience in insurance verification, prior authorizations, and denials prevention
  • Experience working within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health setting
  • Experience using OCHIN Epic

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Patient Intake team across multiple clinic locations.
  • Oversee patient registration, insurance verification, Medicaid and Marketplace enrollment, and financial counseling services.
  • Serve as a resource for patients regarding insurance coverage, Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace enrollment, and Noble's Sliding Fee Discount Program.
  • Monitor departmental performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve standardized workflows and processes.
  • Stay current on CMS, Marketplace, and regulatory updates affecting patient enrollment and eligibility.
  • Serve as the OCHIN Epic Super User for patient registration and enabling services.
  • Partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve patient access and the overall patient experience.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards.
  • Travel periodically to Noble Community Clinics locations to support staff and operations.
