About The Position

This position, located on the 1st floor and reporting directly to the Practice Manager, has two primary components: Registration Supervisor and Patient Intake Supervisor. The Clinical Care Supervisor is responsible for managing, providing guidance, and directing the daily workflow of the 1st Floor Clinical Affairs Staff. These staff members are responsible for registering new patients for all treatment centers in GSDM and directing patients to the correct treatment center. The candidate must be able to effectively mentor staff, provide cross-training, support a team-centered environment, and implement necessary changes for business growth. This role works in conjunction with the Predoc Practice Manager in assisting with the interview process, staffing concerns, and disciplinary issues. The position will provide backup to the Practice Manager, including overseeing and documenting staff issues, addressing patient concerns, ensuring full chair utilization in clinic schedules, running Salud reports, screening appointment status reports, income reports, attending meetings, and handling other operational items. The Patient Intake Supervisor directs patient access to BUSDM through outside phone calls, in-person encounters, internal referrals, and Student Discount Program registrants. This role requires in-depth knowledge of BUSDM's processes and policies for prospective patients. As the first point of contact, the position demands excellent customer service skills, broad judgment, independent thinking, and problem-solving abilities. It also provides support and direction to BUSDM faculty and staff. The expectation is that 80%-90% of all calls will be resolved on the first call, and the role is expected to schedule 500-600 new patient appointments per month. Strong keyboarding, written, and verbal communication skills are necessary.
