About The Position

The Patient Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for basic database administration, application support, and acting as a liaison for Medicaid billing. This role involves user account management, assisting in application development by gathering user requirements, testing applications, coordinating a computer mentoring system, providing training to staff, and resolving technical support requests. The analyst will also interface with Residential Staff for Medicaid billing documentation and coordinate Medicaid billing with IT personnel and consultants.

Requirements

Willing to learn basic Structured Query Language.
Driver’s License Required
BA/BS Degree Required

Responsibilities

Performs user account creation and maintenance.
Assists in developing applications by gathering information from users who have made requests.
Tests applications in non-production environment and provides feedback to the development team.
Coordinates the computer mentoring system including training and supervision of mentors.
Provides in-service training to Residential Services staff.
Provides application support via telephone and in-person visits.
Resolves technical support requests submitted online.
Interfaces with Residential Staff to ensure backup documentation for Medicaid billing.
Coordinates Medicaid Billing with SVW IT personnel and consultants.
Submits monthly Medicaid charges to Netsmart personnel.
