The Program Manager for Flow Analytics (PMFA) is accountable for the strategic direction, governance, and ongoing evolution of enterprise analytics supporting patient flow and throughput across the health system. This role ensures that system-level analytics enable executive, clinical, and operational leaders to understand performance, make informed decisions, and drive improvements in patient access, capacity, and throughput. The PMFA owns the analytic vision for patient flow across the system and provides oversight for system-facing reporting assets and datasets, primarily—but not exclusively—delivered through Power BI. Analytics may also be delivered through Epic or other platforms when those tools best meet clinical, operational, or workflow needs. While the role maintains accountability for these assets, it does not function as the primary report developer. Instead, the PMFA guides analytic design, defines requirements, validates logic, and ensures high-quality delivery through collaboration with analytics teams and technical partners. Working closely with executive leadership, strategic partners, and internal subject matter experts, the PMFA translates operational and clinical questions into clearly defined, governed metrics aligned with organizational priorities. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role with direct accountability to executive leadership. The PMFA serves as a trusted analytics advisor, engaging in front-facing, consultative work to shape performance questions, ensure analytic accuracy and trust through validation against Epic and other source systems, interpret results, and deliver outputs that are consistent, actionable, and aligned around a shared understanding of flow performance.
