About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Patient Financial Services, the Computer
Operator will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of payer
claims and retrieval of payer remittances. The Operator is responsible for
compiling and forwarding programmed reports/files to internal and external
customers, ensuring the highest quality output. The Operator will support other
related functions in the Patient Financial Service area, which includes multiple
billing software.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent education
• One year of previous office experience
• Computer literacy required
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Computer literacy required with Microsoft Office products including word and excel

Nice To Haves

• AAS degree
• Understanding of basic computer concepts (files, printing, networks, etc).
