About The Position

Join the Patient Financial Services team at New York-Presbyterian. As a Patient Accounts Supervisor, you will oversee the Medicaid and Blue Cross account receivable activities for several network hospitals within our Patient Financial Services department. You will use your previous management experience as you supervise 10 employees by overseeing productivity and quality, managing staff attendance and ensuring that work lists include the appropriate work assignments on a daily basis. You will also work closely with various internal departments, as well as with external payers and entities. As a Patient Financial Services supervisor you will understand our hospital mission and consistently stress the themes of respect and engagement.

Requirements

High school diploma
Two years of progressive work related experience
Thorough working knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding
Prior supervisory experience
Knowledge of New York State third-party regulations

Bachelors or equivalent
Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
