About The Position

Fills in for other department staff (Analyst Biller/Collector, Analyst Insurance, Financial Counselor, Clerk Accounting I) during absences from the workplace. Performs assigned clerical duties in an accurate and timely fashion according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Demonstrates written, interpersonal, and communication skills as appropriate to position
• Proficient in word processing and PC based spreadsheet programs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people
• Working knowledge of collection laws applicable to state and federal levels
• Working knowledge of insurance regulations, healthcare related insurance billing and/or collections
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and explain insurance requirements and benefits.
• Working knowledge of automated UB92 and/or HCFA 1500 billing
