About The Position

The Patient Engagement Specialist is responsible for tracking patient engagement metrics, tracking no-shows, reaching out to patients, gathering data, identifying barriers, analyzing trends, and reporting the effectiveness of engagement strategies, ensuring patient compliance and researching/troubleshooting patients’ reasons for non-compliance using data and reports from the Electronic Health Record. The role combines technical expertise, data analytics, and review of the electronic health records with patient interaction to ensure patient compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Medical Office Assistant, Receptionist or Secretary in a health care environment required
• Applicable work experience may be substituted for formal education beyond High School

Nice To Haves

• Additional education/certification in healthcare/medical office field is preferred
