A Brief Overview Determines negotiation strategies with pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers, implementing pharmaceutical procurement strategies to enhance customers' bottom line. Collaborates with trade professionals in creating and implementing pharmaceutical procurement plans. Contributes to the achievement of business objectives and ensures the organization remains competitive in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the management of resources including assessing staffing needs, optimizing equipment and technology utilization, and managing budgets to support operational goals.
  • Implements new strategies and business plans derived from project management tools, data analysis, and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement for the operations strategy area.
  • Delivers internal and external operations strategy communications and presentations, creating executive-level talking points, agendas, and monthly dashboards for stakeholders.
  • Defines project requirements, objectives, and key targets and objectives to communicate performance status and progress on critical activities and operational documentation, while also driving business growth.
  • Helps establish and implement financial and performance reports with finance partners, including rebate operations, financial targets, and objectives, and conducts regular audits to manage compliance and quality control.
  • Promotes a culture of continuous improvement, drives employee engagement, and addresses resistance to change.
  • Directs individuals to carry out current and potential participant offerings, consolidate insights, and identify approaches to achieve a market advantage.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the operations team by encouraging innovation, gathering feedback from employees, and implementing initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversees ongoing training to ensure all team members are fully versed and compliant within their respective roles.
