About The Position
This position is responsible for obtaining and entering patient demographic information and verifying insurance information utilizing our integrated system software or individual payer websites. The successful candidate will also cross-train on other billing functions within the office, including answering incoming phone calls and/or helping with collection calls when necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- Ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to pass drug screening, if offered employment
Nice To Haves
- Prior billing experience preferred, but not necessary
