About The Position

This role is for a Part-Time Patient Coordinator at their Long Beach Office, responsible for front office duties and supporting patients, providers, and staff. Previous healthcare experience is required.

Requirements

Healthcare Experience is required.
Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
Must be a professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.
Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
Prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads efficiently and professionally.
Create a positive phone call experience for every caller.
Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care for patients and providers.
Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate provider needs.
Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
