About The Position

Schweiger is a leading dermatology practice with a significant national presence, seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator for its Rochester and Canandaigua Offices. The Patient Coordinator is responsible for all front office duties and providing essential support to patients, providers, and staff. Requirements

• Previous healthcare experience is required.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable, and a dedicated employee.
• Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute all front office duties.
• Provide support to patients, providers, and support staff.
• Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads efficiently and professionally.
• Create a positive phone call experience for each caller.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance the quality of service and care.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
