About The Position

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the patient coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of patient’s surgical experience. Their responsibilities include, but not limited to, maintaining efficient workflow in the OR, ensuring patient safety and satisfaction, facilitating communication among healthcare providers and monitoring the robotic program performance. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, and typically falls under a mid-level administrative or healthcare support position. These functions are critical to the role and must be performed effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma in Nursing required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Current valid Arkansas Registered Nurse Licensure
• BLS/CPR required prior to patient care.
• ACLS and PALS certification required within 1 year of hire.
• 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a surgical or operating room environment
• Experience with maintaining and managing surgical equipment and supplies
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with surgeons, surgical staff, and hospital administration
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues that arise during robotic surgeries
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality of care

Nice To Haves

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse preferred.
• Certification in Robotic Surgery preferred.
• Prior experience coordinating or managing surgical programs or operating services is highly desirable
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a healthcare setting
