Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing processes
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with practice management systems and basic computer skills
- Professional, calm, and patient-focused demeanor
- Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients throughout their surgical journey
- Schedule consultations, procedures, and follow-up appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage, estimates, and financial responsibilities
- Coordinate care with surgeons, clinical staff, and referring offices
- Ensure accurate patient records and documentation are maintained
- Provide clear pre- and post-operative instructions and support
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
