About The Position
Rhode Island Children’s Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking a passionate Patient Coordinator to join our dedicated team. We provide the highest quality dental care to children, adolescents, adults, and patients with special health care needs. As a collaborative team of pediatric dentists and orthodontists, we are committed to exceptional patient care, strong partnerships with families, and meaningful connections within our community.
Requirements
- Travel required between both locations: Coventry and East Greenwich
- Prior experience in dental or medical front-office preferred
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, pediatric-focused setting
- Team-oriented, positive attitude
- Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the SDB Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism
- Manage accurate check-ins and check-outs
- Schedule, confirm, and remind patients of appointments
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with billing questions
- Maintain organized patient records and support smooth office flow
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure an exceptional experience
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
