About The Position

EyeCare Partners is hiring a Patient Coordinator for Grene Vision Group in Wichita, Kansas. The Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients, sets the tone for their visit through excellent patient care, and performs administrative tasks to support a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The role is full-time, with shifts scheduled within office hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Some earlier or later work may be needed. Employees must be willing to work over 40 hours to meet business needs and have reliable transportation to travel between work locations with minimal notice.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to interact courteously and professionally with employees at all levels.
Desire to gain industry knowledge and training.
Initiative in accomplishing practice goals.
Ability to grow, adapt, and accept change.
Ability to foster a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused work environment.
Commitment to work over 40 hours to meet business needs.
Reliable transportation allowing travel to multiple work locations with minimal notice.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service during in-person and phone interactions.
Greet patients promptly and professionally, and thank them when they leave.
Answer internal and external phone calls and provide prompt, courteous service.
Respect patients’ time and the doctor’s schedule, and manage patient flow in the office.
Know common fees for visits and collect the correct payments.
Complete daily reconciliations, close the day, and count the cash drawer.
Perform general office duties and cleaning as assigned by the manager.
