About The Position

Children’s Dental Center is looking for a warm, energetic Patient Coordinator to join their growing pediatric dental practice in Sioux Falls, SD. This role is a critical part of the practice, working in a dedicated call-center area on the top floor of their office. The goal is to create a positive experience for kids and parents from the moment they call the office. Children’s Dental Center provides comprehensive dental care for children in a welcoming, kid-friendly environment, aiming to make every appointment stress-free, educational, and fun.

Nice To Haves

Preferred at least 1 year of experience in a dental office setting.
Experience with electronic health records/patient management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patients for dental treatment.
Triage and transfer phone calls as necessary.
Make outgoing phone calls to confirm patient appointments.
Update necessary documentation in patients’ charts.
Monitor the shared office email and respond to inquiries.
Communicate with external dental offices and handle patient referrals to our practice.
Additional duties as needed such as following up with patients, transferring records, and other necessary tasks related to scheduling.
