About The Position

We are seeking to fill our full time Medical Receptionist/Patient Concierge position with an experienced individual who is a master at multi-tasking and loves to help make patients feel welcome upon arrival. The primary responsibilities will be scheduling, answering phones, and other duties such as patient online inquiries. Hours: 7:45am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
One year of administrative medical office experience is required
Proficiency in keyboarding skills and experience with electronic medical records
Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA requirements

Responsibilities

Welcome patients with compassion and professionalism, creating a supportive and positive experience.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments, procedures, and follow-up visits.
Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate clinical team.
Register patients, update electronic medical records (EMR), verify insurance information, and maintain accurate documentation.
Collect copayments, process payments, and assist patients with basic billing and insurance questions.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
Provide administrative support by preparing medical records, coordinating communication with clinical staff, and assisting with daily front office operations.
