About The Position

In this position, you'll be responsible for providing direct care for patients and families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist nursing personnel with patient care activities and helping in maintaining a clean and safe environment. ORA holds all of our staff members accountable for providing high level care, maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations. As a member of our ASC team, you're actively involved in work that makes a significant difference in the lives of our patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or it must be obtained within the first 6 months of hire date.
• Completion of a 500/720-hour Certified Medical Assistant course.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbs.
• Standing and walking a minimum of 6 hours out of 8 hours.
• Displays excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to communicate and interact with patients and their families clearly and effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the healthcare setting is preferred.
• Prior customer service experience is preferred.
