About The Position

DaVita Kidney Care is expanding its services to patients in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) through a new team called DaVita Skilled Nursing Dialysis Services (DSD). This initiative aims to provide dialysis treatment on-site, reducing the burden on patients who are currently transported three times a week and addressing avoidable healthcare costs. DSD Services teammates will leverage DaVita's resources to develop and grow this new service line. The ideal candidates are experienced within DaVita, thrive in a start-up environment, are passionate about improving patient lives, and have a proven ability to get things done ('GSD'). Teammates must be comfortable working autonomously and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Prior Hemo-Dialysis experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification
Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their dialysis treatment stays on track.
Work in conjunction with dialysis RNs to provide dialysis care.
Provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment through direct one-on-one patient care.
Provide comprehensive patient care in an independent setting.
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
Multitask to meet the needs of the service, patients, and SNF partners.
Support other local SNF dens as needed.
