The Patient Care Technician (PCT) on the Neuro Tele unit provides direct patient care and assistance based on the plan of care and patient/family preferences. This role involves collecting and reporting patient data, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and performing technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately. The PCT collaborates with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs, maintains a clean and safe environment, and proactively meets patient and visitor needs. This position also demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines, while participating in process improvement, adhering to safety goals, and advocating for patients.
