The Patient Care Technician (PCT) - Neuro PCU position is a full-time role on the night shift. This role involves providing direct patient care and assistance based on the established plan of care and patient/family preferences. The PCT will be responsible for collecting and reporting patient data, supporting admission, transfer, and discharge processes, and performing technical procedures safely while documenting care accurately. Collaboration with nurses to adapt care for diverse populations and cultural needs is essential. The role also includes maintaining a clean and safe environment, proactively meeting patient and visitor needs, demonstrating teamwork, flexibility, and effective communication across disciplines, participating in process improvement, adhering to safety goals, and advocating for patients. Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork operate as one hospital across two locations, serving Fort Worth and surrounding communities. The hospital is a 261-bed, full-service facility with specialties in surgical services, orthopedics, imaging, and adult critical care.
