Patient Care Technician- PCU- 0.9 FTE D
About The Position
As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you will perform delegated patient care activities and provide direct, hands-on patient care. Technicians spend significant time with patients, helping build trust, provide comfort, and support recovery through compassionate, person-centered care. You will work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals in a team-focused environment and have opportunities to learn from skilled healthcare professionals and encounter a variety of patient populations and care environments. Day shift opportunities are available. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Nursing student who has completed the first semester of clinicals.
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
- Prior PCT experience in another acute care healthcare organization.
- Completion of the Franciscan PCT In-training program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association; Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed.

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
